I want to replace the broom handle stock grip on my Draco-C & Arsenal SLR107-UR.
My choice is a AK adaptor with a Tango Down Battle grip.
A MFT AK grip.
Or US Palm grip.
Which would be the best choice. I know it depends on my personal preference. I live the feel of the TDBattle grip on my AR.
I like the Us Palm. It is very similar to the Tango Down.
I have the US Palm grip as well and I like it a lot. way better than the standard Soviet style one.
I used to be all about the US Palm/TD grip. What I’ve found that really fits, though, is the Molot grip that came on my Vepr-12. Honestly, I like it enough to look into swapping out my commie stocks for US-made clones to keep 922r compliance if I choose to add the Molot grip to my other AKs.
I think the US Palm grip is very close in size and shape to the larger TD AR grip.

Another vote for the U.S. Palm/Tangodown AKBG (AK Battle Grip). I have one in the red-ish color, it looks good on my painted AK.
Out of the 3 listed I’d go with the US Palm…
I’d also look at the Mako grip. I have it on all my Kalashnikov’s and I love it!
+1, although I personally really like the Hogue AK grip.
I also like and use the US Palm grip.
The Palm grip is very nice, IME it places my hand higher up on the gun so that actuating the safety is simplified from the standard AK grip.

Put me down for US Palm as well. It’s my favorite AK grip I’ve tried to date.
My fave is the MD Arms Molot-style grip. $20 or less, and fits my hand really well.

Can’t go wrong with the Hogue grip.
+1 on the hogue, judging by its looks when if first saw it…meh. but when my romy m10 came with it, totally changed my mind. though not as nice lookin as those mentioned, the feel/comfort/soft texture is a clear winner for me, i do have the u.s palm but the hogue for straight up use is the winner for me.
I’ve had them all to date: Soviet patterned, then the CAA AG47 egros, then the Houges, and finally I have opted for the US Palm/TD battle grips on my Kalashnikovs. Some aggresive stippling on the front and back straps (I do the entire grip) and your GTG.
Side note, their brown color matches with the Bulgarian factory 10 brown AK-74 mags superbly if you care about such things.
I personally prefer the Hogue above all others. The MD Arms “molot grip” is a very close second.
I’ve got 2 US Palm grips, I like them a lot. They put your hand and wrist in to a different position. Hold one and you will see. They are very solid and look nice too.
However, they can’t seem to get their hardware straight. The first one I bought came with the wrong size allen wrench, no big deal. With the second grip the bolt was not long enough to fully engage the threads more than a couple turns so I went to the hardware store and got the right size bolt.
I modified my Tango Down Battle grip by drilling another hole and drilling the inside. It fits perfect. I’ll post a pick later.
I also had the wrong size allen wrench in my US Palm AK grip. I managed to jury-rig something to get it to work, but it was a royal PITA. It’s a nice grip, though.
since you’re considering the adaptor, I put a MOE grip+ on mine. I really like it.
