As an owner of an SLR-106 I have accumulated a good number of the 5.56mm Bulgarian mags. I also have Bulgarian and Russian AK-74 magazines. Externally around the feed lips, etc. the mags look almost identical and the '74s fit nice in the SLR-106.
I have heard that the '74 mags can be used in the 106, but you have to load only 20-25 rounds. What’s the story on this from those who have already experimented?
