got a 16in 5.56 carbine with comp-m3 larue 1 3rd co witness with aim point 3 power monocular.
sighted in at 50 yds, dead 0
when I shot the gun at 100 yds, maybe considering with only 3 power magnification and a 2moa dot the gun only shot approx. 2" high at the most. according t o the 50 yd trajectory table the gun should have been shooting around 6" high. (not complaining) Please answer if you have had first hand experience and not what you have heard.
When sighting in my ar with a 20" h bar with 3 x 9 mounted as low as possible on the 1913 rail sighted in at 50 yds.
when shot gun at 100 yds. the gun was shooting around 7" high
QUESTION: why would 50 yd sight in on the 16" barrel carbine not change but an inch or two from the 50 yd. trajectory table but the
20" barrel did. could scope height from center of scope to center of bore play a factor in this? all info would be greatly appreciated.
