I want to get an optic for an AR pistol I’m building to possibly use for hunting hog. I have literally one optic (Aimpoint PRO) for my Colt LE6920. I have one optic to account for 6 long guns at the moment and I wanted to possibly get the T-2 for my AR pistol 300 AAC I’m building. I can get it for $625 shipped brand new from sport optics. Should I pull the trigger? Is it worth it for hunting? That price reflects no mount by the way.
For a NIB one that’s a good price in my experience, and I’m currently in the market for one myself.
That said, if your hunting you can prob. get a 1-4/6x type optic that would fit better.
I consider a T-1/2 the premiere hard use 1x optic, and believe they are worth the money for sure fwiw.

I joke that the PRO is the best “married with kids” optic and the T-2 is the best “single with no kids” optic.

Not a bad price but I think that’s going to be the norm going forward with more optics hitting the market. I picked mine up during eBay’s last sale after Christmas with the LRP mount for $577.99 shipped (15% off of $679.99)

Just got my T-2 and I can’t wait for my mount to come so I can sight it in on my BCM. Quick question; I’ve checked to see from Aimpoints site to make sure it’s not a fake but I noticed from reviews I’ve seen it doesn’t have this U shaped groove they all seem to have on the underside. Mine has two small indentations. Is this seen in newer models ?
