I have a used 300 rounds fired Aimpoint T–1 2moa Mounted and a Larue LT660 that 2 of the screws were stripped, and were brought to a gunsmith to re-thread and fix with larger diameter screws.
The 1st pic will show this in detail. You can tell the 2 different screws with the larger heads are the ones that were stripped. These were blue lock tighted in, and never moved on me in the 300 rounds that was fired on this optic. I’m selling this because I can no longer use red dots with my astigmatism.
The Last pic shows the dot at 7 setting. I just took it to show it is in working condition, Sorry for the shitty pic
If this ended up bothering you in the long run I’m sure you can always return it to Aimpoint for them to repair it. I’ve even read on some forms were Aimpoint just pretty much replaced the site for free. I never bothered with this because it has been fine since it was repaired at my LGS, and I never saw any issue with it.
