Will I loose zero mounting it with the front half off rail?

Typically I put the front of the mount at the edge of the rail.

Retain zero, I would move it back but there is no room with the magnifier and mbus.
It should retain zero Ok I think. That mount is just “ok” and would look for a Cantilever one.

This is why they make cantilever mounts.
Personally, I’d take solid mounting of my primary sighting device over a magnifier sandwiched between the RDS and BUIS. If the magnifier is that important to your use, I would consider losing the BUIS to gain a solid mount.

Thanks for the replies. I ended up taking off the magnifier and moving the pro back. Eventually I’ll end up buying a adm mount.
I’m saving up for my optic now but when I started changing out parts on my colt I took the optic/magnifier setup into consideration with the buis so I bought the DD omega 7 rail. It has the extended lip on the top to make the top rail continuous. Just another option to throw out there
