Aimpoint Micro mount ?

I have a question for the group…

Please don’t flame me for asking…

I have a Sig STS-081 RDS that is currently mounted on a range gun (I will eventually get an H1 for this rifle as funds permit). This rifle is not a go to fighting rifle, I have a BCM for that role.
I have the RDS mounted in a ADM CASV mount (I have a CASV on this rifle).

I’m wondering if all low mounts are the same, the reason I ask…

The diode for the Sig is at six o’clock unlike the Aimpoint which is at ~5 o’clock.
Due to this I can’t get a sight picture from my irons, the diode blocks the sight picture.

Will a LaRue low mount be at a different height (lower)?

I’ve searched the web sights and can’t find measurements for the mount(s) height(s)…
