I’ve been putting together my match rifle for a couple of weeks now and I’m thinking about which optic to use. At first I was set on a low powered scope possibly with a RDS as a second optic. That setup is used by a lot of shooters here. What I would really like to do is use my aimpoint T1 with a magnifier though as I like the simplicity of a red dot. Is this suitable for matches? Anyone tried it? The guy who won the Nordic championship used an eotech with magnifier. No aimpoint but maybe proves you don’t need a regular scope. Any thoughts?
