I am looking for a RDS for my LMT MWS. I have a 2.5-10 Nikon I am going to run and I was looking at the Larue Website with offset Micro’s.
Has anyone run an offset RDS? Anyone used a Larue offsets? H-1 or T-1?
Any feedback appreciated.

The Aimpoint micros are great. I’m sure you’re already aware, but the major difference between T-1 and H-1 is the night vision capability.

Try this: http://tnvc.com/items/weapon_moounts_rings/sar3p.html
This was the original offset mount and has been in use by SOCOM units for years. It was designed by TNVC’s President in the mid 1990’s and allows you to mount a mini RDS at any angle on your weapon. The reason this is better than the mount you mentioned is because you can put the RDS higher up. the LT mount puts the RDS on the receiver of the weapon. This fails because the scope turrets will be in the way.
I really enjoy my t-1 in a lt724…quite fast once you accumulate yourself with it:)

I have a Larue off set mount with a Aimpoint T1 in combination with a TA33 ACOG on my Colt 6920 and I am also running a Nightforce 2.5-10 in conjuction with a Primary Arms Aimpoint Clone in a Larue mount on my Larue Stealth. I like the Larue mount a lot its the best I have tried as the angle is perfect. With the DD off set mount I have to move my head slightly to use the sight. But with the Larue mounts I just move the rifle slightly.
Here are some pics.

The Above DD mount is less desirable the only reason I used it on this rifle is to clear the scope turrent.
Trident, that is the cats meow. I was curious if anyone ran that set up and how they liked it. I went with a Trij RMR because I had $180 bucks in Cabellas points and got that project done cheap. I’m going to try the D. Defense offset for starters. I dont know if its better or attaching to the scope is better, but I’ll try different things till I’m content.
Your set up is wicked. I’m a little green with envy.
Thanks pal;)
I had tried the dd 1oclock prior to the lt724 and although it works, the lt724 is just perfect imho. Its a personal thing though so you are right in thinking you should do a little T&E first yourself…I wish I would of known cause I just recently sold the DD mount.
Check out the SAR from TNVC as well as the Matt Burkett offset mount for a few others to try.
Be sure to post of some pics and thoughts of the setups you run with the RMR…as I think the RMR is a sweet choice for a secondary optic but as you are finding out, its the road less traveled as of now, so you are kinda pioneering your way. Edwin907 has a sweet SAR/RMR setup on a nxs 3.5…maybe he can weigh in about it.
