Aimpoint CompM4?

I recently saw a blurb on the Aimpoint CompM4 which shows a retail price of $780. What does it offer that an M3 doesn’t except the AA batteries? Am I missing something basic in this new Aimpoint like better electronics or something?

70-100K hrs of battery life, integral mount (not 30mm ring type) and IIRC it’s more submersible in water.
