Hey, you all, got a question that could be vintage, but not really sure. Is there a way to mount an
M2 or M3 Aimpoint onto an A1/A2 carry handle and get it down really low. Like as in as far as it
will go!?! Of course everyone will say “get a flattop”, but that is not an option, or even desirable
in this case. So as Limbo Man Chubby Checker once said…How low can you go???
You could get a goose neck mount and co-witness with your irons.
I’ve used the ARMS mount on a couple, and its worked well.
Yes Sir. ARMS mount with Aimpoint x-wide low ring.

I’d likely agree with the ARMS rig in the pic. Don’t know if a lower
setup has been around, ever.
Here is the KZ micro mount…
I’m not a huge fan of A.R.M.S. mounts, but a gooseneck which allows the optic to sit over the handguards will allow a co-witness with the Aimpoint.

DSA also has several gooseneck mounts.

That KZ micro looks mighty kool, for a modern app. I’m thinking more along the lines of what Quib
posted on his BHD looking KISS Karbine. I also am going to avoid the gooseneck, which is a lot
heavier and throws the balance in the process. Thanks, gents…this is some good stuff!
If you want to mount an older M2 then I would look at the mounts that were “the shit” 15 to 20 years ago…
i.e. the Aimpoint factory gooseneck…
Or the orignional ARMS # 16 Aimpoint mount…

If you need anymore pics or info, just drop me an IM.
I’d like to see a picture and/or a report of someone using a C-More Scout red dot with the gooseneck mount.
I have an extra goose neck lying around if someone wanted it. and a 30mm low mount.

T-1 on ADM CAS mount.
