Looking for something more vertical than the OEM grip on the rifle. Opinions on BCM, Tango Down and other [emoji631]made replacement grips. Putting on a new rail(Midwest Industries MCTAR-17) and MagPul Handstop. Very minimalist. Thanks !

I’ve tried several different grips over the years. My favorite is the BCM Mod 3. It’s more vertical and a little thicker in the middle. Perfect fit for my medium size hand.

The Mod 3 and Mod 2 are favorites of mine…and I wear a medium for gloves. The Mod 3 is a bargain, but the Mod 2 is a good option if you want to feel out what size of grip you want. The Magpul K2 is decent, but the ergos of the BCM won me over.

I put a bcm together for a friend and it had a mod 3. I’ll be putting one on my rifle soon. I find the a2 unusable for extended periods due to the torquing of my wrist. With my long arms, my forearm cramps up during long range sessions. The mod3 feels natural and eliminates the issue. I’m using a caa grip now and it beats the a2, but the mod 3 is much better, imo. I held a td once and it just didn’t do it for me, although it’s better than a2 as well.

BCM Mod 3. The palm swells, grip angle, texture, trigger reach, and storage method is just about perfect.
I love Magpul, but BCM hit it out of the park with their polymer goods. The Mod 3 grip is my favorite grip, no question. I’ve used a ton of grips (MOE, K, K2, MOE SL, Hogue, TangoDown, Stark, DD, those ridiculous cheapie ones), but the Mod 3 just blows them away. Same story on the Mod 0 stock and their short VFG’s (for those of us that use it as more of a handstop)… Of all the ones I’ve used, BCM’s are just my favorite.
Okay, I’ll be the odd man out; I really like Magpul’s K2, the more vertical orientation plus the design of the beavertail is just perfect for me (YMMV).

Used to be an Ergo grip user, gave the BCM gunfighter grip mod 3 a whirl on current build, and am now pissing away even more money replacing all my ergo grips with BCM Mod 3s…

Try the magpul k2+, I prefer them over the bcm grips.
BCM Mod 3 also.
It just feels right to me.
I have large hands and like the swell and angle.

BCM Mod3 for me as well. I bought a BCM rifle from Grant a while back and fell in love with the grip so much that I have changed all of mine over to them since I’m a bit anal and like erogs to be identical across the entire stash.
I’ve used a few of the BCM grips, a Ergo, a MIAD, and a UCWRG. Still have a BCM mod 1? on my 18" gun. I like the B5/UCWRG grip the best of the ones I have tried. A little stipple work and its good.
The stark looks odd but is pretty damn good. The k is great but too small. The k2 is pefect for me.
I tried the BCM mod3 but I greatly prefer the MagPul K2.
I’ve used the Magpul MOE grip for years but now Im really starting to like the BCM Mod 1
Tried several and BCM Mod 3 is what is on both AR’s now.
Something revolutionary would have to come along for me to change these out.
