After seeing these posts about boots/shoes I wanted to try something a bit more aggressive than running shoes, but not as constraining as my normal bates boots. Put an order in for these tonight. They seem pretty nice. Nice GTX upper.

I was originally looking at salomons and trying to find a mid type trail/climber. When I cam across these figured I would try them out. I am up in Cleveland and it’s just about to be the perfect time to test these out in the rain/slush. Anyone else tried em? I am extremely flat footed also so I thought anyone wanting to find a nice trail shoe might want to check em out. Very interested to see how these hold up compared to the other companies that put out these types of shoes. Because of the type of shoe I need to normally wear it’s hard to find anything other than running shoes. So these are going to hopefully put out a bit nicer while out in the woods this summer. Also I do wish they came with a bit more of a subtle color. Maybe a tan or dark brown. Hopefully they do soon. Will post more as soon as I get to run in em.
