So, I thought I had ordered an ADM Recon, but a scout showed up at my door today. I investigated and found out that it was indeed my mistake. Now that the scout is in my hands though I am tempted to try it out. Has anyone tried one of these out? I like the idea of a single throw lever but wonder if it will be secure enough
I choose and have the scout x…it’s a pretty solid mount up, will put it through its paces tomorrow at a local club multigun match. doesn’t feel any less solid than my LT152 for aimpoint
For LW optics, the scout X’s single latch design is perfectly fine. I would hesitate to use it on some of these huge optics that people put on ARs sometimes though.
I now only run Recon X mounts, but just like every other ADM mount I’ve owned in the past…the Scout X was a fantastic piece of kit, that did it’s job exactly as it was designed to do.
