About to get a 1-4x and have decided to go with American Defense scope mount. Is the only difference between the Recon and Scout is that the Scout has one QD lever and the Recon has two ? Advantages or disadvantages of either ? It will occasionally be removed and replaced. Which to go with ?
I don’t own the scout but have been using the Recon since March. It has held zero after being removed a few times.
The scout is probably lighter, but I went recon for my 1 X 4 for the second latch. I think that if you manage to break one latch you could still use the optic.
