I’m looking for a high quality QD cantilever mount for my Aimpoint Pro that i’m ordering next week. I have used ADM’s products in the past and i have been happy with them but many are saying Bobro’s mounts are as good as it gets right now.
With the quality of their products and customer service I have not found a reason to look past ADM. I own several of their mounts and other products utilizing their levers.
That said Bobro is a quality mount and arguably more elegant design.
I have a Bobro Comp M4 mount so, I can’t speak for the usefulness of the cantilever mount… But, I have no reason to look elsewhere for a mounting solution… A much more developed design in a sleeker package.
It’s hard for me to pick, because they both look extremely acceptable. I’d just narrow it down to which one looks cooler to you, which one is more available, and which one is cheaper.
Hell yeah thats all that matters right? They did seem like a some good guys when i met them at SHOT show last year. I’ve never had any complaint on their mounts.
Thats the idea. Im going to experiment with the vortex vmx3 offering just to see how I like the concept and weight before I drop some serious cash on a aimpoint or eotech 3x. The rifle is a SR-15.
As a KAC fanboy, I must applaud you on your purchase.
I’ve been really tempted by the Vortex 3X magnifier as well, and I like that the standard mount for it is ADM, and IIRC they have an absolute co-witness one. (Which is what I run. I use the 2MOA T-1 in a KAC mount with none of the risers.)
When you get it you should either post a range report. I’m eager to see how other people like 'em.
Now I tried the vmx3 today and I do like it however with the KAC rear sight the swing mount would not clear it. I may have to try a kac micro and see if it’ll clear that.
