I was wondering if it is possible to replace a factory gas block with an adjustable gas block and if so Does anyone know of a company that makes an adjustable gas block.
What do you mean by adjustable?
um for instance armalites ar10 SASS system has an adjustable gas block which allows you to use a surpressor. The FAL’s have one. it allows you to shut your gas off or adjust it to your needs.
Oh in that case take a look at JP enterprises. They have a quite a few different adjustable ones.
Are they for the ar 10 .308?
Im pretty sure they have some for the AR 10 barrel diameter.
sweet is there any more out there besides jp enterprise? and how good of stuff do they make
JP has good products. You can be sure you wont have quality issues. But as for other brands, Do a google search and search places that have AR10 parts like DSG arms.
JP makes one but they don’t work well unless you’re using a lightened bolt carrier and light buffer.
Here’s a picture of my 3 gun rifle. 18" WOA barrel 1x7 with rifle length gas system and a JP LMOS (6oz carrier) and a custom CAR buffer that I modified that weighs 2.3 oz.
