i saw it a couple of years ago at the SHOT show, but never really followed up on it as i didn’t have an application for it. LWRCi had it on their website for a time, i think, but it’s no longer there. it was pretty expensive - over $300 IIRC.
makes sense.
I actually really like this idea.

Practicing to the maximum effective distance of my weapon. 500-600m.
IMO this doesn’t have much of an application for an AR. On a MK46 / MK48 / M249 / M240 is another story. I’ve never touched one, but if the concept is well executed this would be great for those MG’s.
… Now that I think about it… a 4MOA dot covering a target at 500m is retarded…

That isn’t the gun shooting “Minute of Angle”, that’s the gun shooting “Area of Impact”.
…hence the reason why they were designed and constructed with the intent of being used on belt-fed area weapons, not point guns, and are-you-freaking-kidding-me ( 
) not precison guns.
All the 0331s I know that had a chance to try them out loved them, but they were never bought in numbers I was aware of. Not sure if they’re even being made, any more…

Ugh, just remembering conversations I had with some folks about these things and off-intent usage, 2 years ago.
You came to it on your own; I had to draw pictures for them. The description of “masking,” alone, had me wanting to kick a kitten through a fan…

That’s only 10 inches at 500m… A human torso is about 12’'…
The dot would actually be 11.43’’ at that range. 
Sorry, I’m an asshole. But regardless of the 2 MOA Aimpoint Micros coming out, this mount on an AR is still the wrong tool for the wrong job.
