I saw a few threads regarding ADI from last year but was hoping there are more folks who have some recent experience on functionality, accuracy, overall quality, etc.
Want the Magtech from Grant but he doesn’t take AMEX.
“This is ADI Australian Defense Industries 5.56mm (223) 62gr FMJ ammo. It has the steel penetrator F1 bullet (basically equivalent to the NATO M855 or SS109 bullet). It comes packed plastic sleeves of 50rds (order 18 packs to get it in a 900rd ammo can.) Non corrosive, boxer primed, may have green tip. Made in Australia.”
I like the ADI just fine; I’ve gone through about 600 rounds from the two cases I purchased a while back without functional or performance problems. More accurate in my hands than Federal XM or PMC X-Tac. More expensive too, although it usually comes with a quality can fwiw.
However, I like the Magtech/CBC better from an accuracy standpoint. G&R has the best price I’ve seen, at least it was when I last checked–and shipping is fair.
I think SeriousStudent has given sound advice. I’m an AMEX guy too, but the fee burden on small businesses can be harsh and difficult to swallow with slim margins. I have a Visa card for situations where I still want to patronize good small businesses who don’t accept AMEX.
