Added another retro build several months ago.

For several months, I have had an issue with getting onto this forum. I tried again tonight and behold, it works. Several months ago, I built another retro. This one is a M16A1 from the late 1967-1970 era.

I still have a 1971 era M16A1 in the works. Still waiting on receivers from Nodak Spud. Hope to have them in the next couple months. I am glad to be able to get back on this forum.

Very Nice build indeed

That looks amazing!
I’d still like to put together a M-16A1 clone like that sooner than later, but parts are getting ridiculously hard to find and expensive.

What-A-Country still has M16A1 parts kits available.

Brownells has the correct 1/12 barrels. They also have the A1 profile lowers available in gray.

Thanks, I didn’t realize kits were still around- I need to pick one up while I can. I’ve got a SP1 made the year I was born, but it’s unfired outside of the factory and I can’t seem to break it’s cherry yet- this I could shoot all day…

Very nice rifle. I have a barrel assembly I need to turn into one.

If you need any direction or assistance, let me know. I try to help others when I can.

Another solid build as usual. You have good taste in firearms my friend.

Thank you.

it looks like a rack rifle that never left the rack. Nice

As always, another great build.

So, you are on here too. Glad to hear from you.
