Something else I’ve been working on with a friend is the 6.5S, its a 6.5 144grn fmj that runs like nothing else I have tried in the M4 platform, it hits HARD!!

You ain’t kiddin’! One of the first public events, if not THE first, where the 6.5 Grendel made its debut was at the Blackwater shoot in May 2004.
A 6.5 Grendel firing a Lapua 144gr FMJBT beat 7.62x51 in the “armored glass” challenge, penetrating 1.575" of the latest armored glass.

The lower is one of CMMGs with a DPMS AP4 buffer/spring, the upper is DPMS also, as well as the bolt and carrier that’s been heavily modified!! Daniel Defense 9.0 handguard, the barrel is one I had in my shop I had been kicking around for a couple years, it came off a customers Armalite, I did a little magic to the chamber and it really shoots great!!! I can’t quit shootin it

Put more rounds through the ADC 308 today, I am really liking this thing, looks like it might work out very well, more testing and rounds down range needed though.
Here is a picture of 5 shots on my 150 yard plate, not too bad for a red dot using surplus ammo! Planning some better glass, a trigger job and some match ammo!!
I need to take the barrel off, thread and park it, just been having too much fun to mess with it right now. I was thinking of cutting it back from 20" to 18", what do yall think… ???
18" would be nice with a rifle length gas system. Or a 16" midlength.
Yea I think the 20" looks a little weird with the middy handguards, but it dosent shoot weird at all 
Had a little time ( took a break ) from building my 556 uppers and finished the 308 piston.
I cut the barrel back to 18" threaded it and put a nice crown on the muzzle, then parked the barrel/block/carrier and piston parts. I really like the way it came out!!
Looks like my crown is good:D Thats a 10 shot on my steel at 100 yards, still need to upgrade to better glass and work on the trigger…
So, the question is…when and how much $$$?!
Got to put more rounds through it to make sure it works as well as my 556 piston uppers, I am looking at working up some prices for some complete uppers as well as maybe doing some retro fits on customers uppers, its more involved than meets the eye, I will post some detailed pictures in the next couple days.
What barrel configurations would you interested in ?? Anyone else with some input…Thanks

ADC??? I must have missed this one. How do I find out about 5.56 uppers and the 308 looks awsome I would be down for a 16".
