when is this? literally about an hour from me(Fort Wayne, IN) and it sounds like fun. Just have to get registered. Also, Id be shooting this with my SBR, is that legal in Michigan?

Unfortunately, no SBRs or SBSs in Michigan.
If you decide to come up anyway, there are several people from Indiana that come up and at least one from Fort Wayne you could probably carpool with.
Ive got another Rifle I can use, but I will deffinately be there.

It sounds like you’re covered, but if you need loaner gear just ask. I have plenty of extra gear if you need something.
For those not familiar with ACTS, I recommend reading the rulebook and asking any questions you may have before the event. During our monthly matches we are pretty lenient on gear rules, procedural penalties, etc, but during the CRC it is strictly by the book.

Yeah and it’s not like there are any wierd rules, impossible to comply with. The idea behind ACTS is to run gear that has some relevance to gunfighting… but there are different categories too, for rifles with iron sights, no-mag optics, variable optics, etc., so the guy with a plain-Jane M1A is not competing with an AR configured like an SPR.
And BTW the magazine in the above pic-- per the latest rules, could only be loaded with 30 rounds.
