Sounds like there was an active shooter response exercise going on nearby, which caused someone sufficient alarm to call 911 thinking there was an actual active shooter attack underway.

Thank bejeebies. As much as I wouldn’t want resources wasted, it’s a dollar earned compared to any losses.

This is just a drill. Nothing to look at, move on. LOL.

Thankfully that drill didn’t turn into the real thing with responding LEOs. I guess at least several people got some “unintended variables” training.
