Active shooter response plate carrier

I went through this same process last summer for the “right” plate carrier as my active shooter rig. I settled on the SOHPC from Paraclete and it has worked out very well. Since most of you are PIG users, I was curious if there is an option to run soft armor on the cummerbund? I know side plate pockets are an option. Be Safe!

Yes, they offer a cummberbund that’s soft armor compatible. They also offer the soft armor that fits it as well.

I just run hard plates on my PIG.

Oink Oink. I’m glad I bought the PIG carrier even though I thought it was too much for me. It came in today and I quickly threw on the uniform and donned on the carrier. It rides really high and stays off my belt line. I left one side undone and it slipped on rather fast. No problems there. I’ll have to try it again when I get the plates in and the pouches. But so far so good. It actually looks bigger in the pictures. It’s the perfect size in person.
