From what I can gather from the tv it sounds like suicide by cop.
It seems the only people he shot at were the police who returned fire and killed him.
They keep talking about tear gas being used by the suspect.
So a guy shows up to a movie carrying two backpacks?
So he pepper sprayed 3 people, hacked one with a hatchet, and then waited for police to come to shoot it out. That definitely is Not an active shooter.
But active shooter sounds so much better for the media to say!
