Of course all local news in area are VERY lib, more gun control restrictions probably are already being written in Annapolis & our RINO governor will sign them.
Heard it was a shotgun that was used. It won’t matter though; they’ll either just say “imagine how much worse it would be with an assault weapon! More proof we need stricter bans!” or “Nobody needs a pump action shotgun. Australia banned them, so we should too!”
Why does the ATF deploy to these mass shootings other than to trace where the weapon(s) came from?

Police are executing a search of an address associated with the suspect, law enforcement officials tell CNN.
They believe the suspect had a some interaction with an executive at the newspaper previously, one of the sources said. The source cautioned that this is preliminary information, and the investigation is just beginning.
The suspect is described as being in his 30s.
Yep. And if he happened to be shouting “Allah’u akbar” while doing this, both the media and the FBI will immediately rule out radical Islam as a motivation.

Turns out Jarrod Ramos sued the Capital Gazette for defamation in 2012, only to have a judge toss the lawsuit out. Today was his revenge and there dies the progressive fascist talking points about this guy being enraged at the media because of Trump.

A few years ago a similarly deranged p.o.s. went to shoot up the Forsyth County (GA) courthouse because he was being charged for possessing pot. He drove an SUV up the step of the court house, hurled homemade smoke bombs at the building and wildly shooting up the exterior trying to get inside. Luckily a bunch of sheriff deputies were around to return fire and finally filled him with lead before he was able to get in.
Its amazing that this guy had a serious beef with the paper for over 6 years and if the google is showing his real twatter feed, the guy was off his rocker. I guess since he used his real name in making the twatter threats it was difficult to do something. Although in all fairness, with the state of our mental health system (non existent for the most part thanks to better living through pharmaceuticals), not sure what could have been done to keep this seemingly nut job off the streets. Its a shame no a soul could actually defend themselves.

The shooter isn’t an outright Trump supporter by apperance, the gun used wasn’t on the ‘bad list’, it happened in a state with bleeding edge gun laws- the left has nothing to work with here.
A crazy guy did something crazy. You live in about the ‘best’ state for gun ‘safety’- including making it hard for people to protect themselves with CCWs. The police responded about as fast as humanly possible- and acted bravely and directly. But Trump is the problem?

When even Media Hogg doesn’t make the front page on your shooting, it has less shelf life than a cut apple.
Doesn’t matter he was caught red handed. Everyone involved, especially lawyers, have to work to death the “he’s mentally ill” angle. It’s required these days. What should at tops take a month will be dragged out for a couple years while super detailed due process is carried out, then he’ll probably get life without parole.
