$2400…at $1300 or so I’d have bought one happily but that price is just ridiculous.

I do feel sorry for whoever it was who bought one for $15K+ on GB last week.

What a joke. I hope they follow the first gen iPhone price trend. Start at $600-$800 and then one year later make the one people really wanted that has features that have been out for years for $299. Then the year after drop em to $199.

The buy-fenzy Obama election run-up and SCAR factor has been played out.

SCARs aren’t moving at $2100, many quality ARs are now increasingly/immediately available.

OK for me, I’d buy a ‘full boat’ ACR at $1900.

I think that BM is absolutely stunned at how this product launch went from the second coming to an abomination overnight with the announcement of the pricing. The first production ACRs on gunbroker went for lower than what anybody would have guessed. It really is stunning how this product stiffed.

for that prize ill stay with my 200$ AK Saiga in 5.56 sure its not going to win any fashion shows but its the best of both worlds :smiley:

All these new and expensive rifles make me appreciate how bad ass the ar15 rifle really is. Ergonomic, modular, affordable, and easy to support.

I actually thought they would be higher than that. I have no interest, and never did. But the price isn’t that bad. (dons flame retardant suit):smiley:

It is a brand-new gun. It has a lot of pretty nifty features, and it is priced to compete with the SCAR and the 416. I am not interested because I have a good Colt AR and a good HK416 for when I get the call from the President to go on a secret mission;). But it is an interesting rifle.

I don’t think the price is that bad either. I would love to T&E one, but I’m not willing to pay for one right now.

Be interesting to hear how they shake out when some shooters decide to ante up.

The price is not too bad. However, if they could have come in at $2k flat it would have been at an introductory sweet spot.

I think it if funny too. Tons of people were outraged about the price. Hell, they sound like a woman finding out the pants they are buying are not on sale… If you want it buy it…if you dont then dont…
