I am looking for an ACOG to put on a 6.8 upper that I’m building. I have a TA31H-G for 5.56 on a 14.5 middy upper and really like it. I see that Trijicon offer that ACOG calibrated in 6.8; however I’m not opposed to getting a TA11H-G for the increased eye relief. What I would like to know is how far off will a 5.56 or 7.62 BDC be from 6.8. I’ve been looking at ballistic charts and the 6.8 110-115 grain tends to fall right in between 5.56 62 grain and 7.62 168 grain. That would lead me to believe that the 6.8 BDC would be needed. I ask because I’ve not seen the 6.8 BDC ACOG for sale anywhere. If anyone knows a dealer with a TA31H-G 68 and can direct me to it, I would be thankful.
