OK, SBR build in progress… need some ideas.
I thought I figured out this build but I don’t know if I can get used to how high the ACOG sits. The VLTOR CASV-EL raises the sight at least .5". That’s just high enough that I’m not sure if I can get a good check weld. The reflex sitting on top of the ACOG is way up there.
The other issue I’m wondering about is the VLTOR is meant for a regular front sight. I could get a barrel with a regular sight but with a short eye relief AGOC will there be room at the rear of the rail to mount a BUIS? I’m thinking no.
I really like the VLTOR hand guard. I love the ACOG.

Anyone have pics of ACOGs mounted + BUIS?
[edit] I just saw an Apex hand guard in another thread. I like the look. Might be a possibility.
