I just got my Benelli M2 back from Mike Cyrwus at Accurate Iron. What an UNBELIEVABLE piece!! I put together a short video of it. Let me know what you think…and check out Mike’s site!!!
So spill the beans - what were the modifications.
Alright here are some pictures and some descriptions to go along with it…
This is a 21" M2. This one is wearing a +5 Nordic tube and one of a few different sizes of Nordic endcaps.
These two pictures above ^^^^^ you can see the AMAZING bolt lightening job done by Mike as well as the one of a few different types of extended bolt releases. This one is the Arredondo.
Also, you can see Mike added an extended charging handle. This one is the Nordic, but there are many different options here as well.
This is a picture of a welded lifter as done by C-Rums. No more getting your thumb trapped…now you can load like a jackrabbit on speed!
What’s even better is that Mike tunes this new lifter to EACH INDIVIDUAL GUN. As if Benelli’s weren’t reliable enough…you can’t MAKE this thing quit feeding!
Mike also can open up the loading port to any degree that you desire. You can also see a custom follower in this picture as well.
Here’s a shot of the whole thing again, you can see the AWESOME stippling job on the grip and forearm as well as the aftermarket Hi-Viz sight.
Keep in mind, there are a NUMBER of other things Mike can do for your shotgun. Just tell him what you want, he will take care of you!

What does a gun like this cost?
I’m curious to know what this cost, from start to finish. I’m trying to get into 3-gun stuff more and more everyday. Been eyeing the Salient Arms Benellis too, those things are amazing!

Is there any place that sells stuff like M2 triggers and lightened bolts? For those of us that can’t ship it anywhere due to a different nationality.
I’ve found enlarged safety buttons, bolt handles and tube extensions, that kind of external bolt-on stuff, but not so much triggers, bolts, etc.
OK…I am really diggn’ the cut’s in the mag tube for round cap awareness!!!

Looks like theres another player in the custom Benelli game, aside from Salient Arms Int’l, Accurate Iron, and if Benny Hill at Triangle would do any more Benelli work, thats 3 custom shops right there.

I believe Mike at Accurate Iron did all of the work on Josh’s shotgun
I personally have never had any experience with him first hand, but see many USPSA/3 gun shooters that use him to weld up their Benelli lifters and have never heard any complaints about his work or turn around time.
