Hope this is in the right spot, if not mods please move it. So I was reading a facebook message from a friend and he said Dicks Sports Goods took all their ARs off the shelf, I just got back from Academy and they had taken all the ARs off the shelf as well at least that is what I think. I asked the guy if they sold them all(last time I was in there, there were about 40 ish), or they took them off the shelf, he said “I can’t comment on that”. Hmmm. So what to do you guys think? I think its crazy, but what do I know.
They pulled everything black off the shelf at my academy. I was in there last night and thought they just sold everything, but now I remember there only being wood and pink stocks on the rack.
Demand isn’t high enough for 42rd promags and $20 steal mags to leave the shelves yet.
At 2 local Academys near me…there are NO AR type rifles left at all and barely any mags on the racks that hold more than 10 rounds. There were maybe 1-2 Beretta 96F 40 12rd Mec Gar mags but everything else was gone!
Their ammo shelves were also looking bare. Little in 9mm and 223 left at all.
