I’m assuming they mean a quick dunk in the park tank, and then assembly, then the full park job.
Randall said it’s better than no park, but still not how Colt does it.
for those who think it is rust, obtain a magnet, place the area of suspect “rust” over the magnet and carefully scrape the “rust” with a pin or X-acto blade, if it sticks to the magnet, it is “rust”…, if it don’t, it is the burned powder residue or “other” OK ?
I work at FN and as far as I know it’s not done that way there either.
I wouldn’t expect so. I’d guess that they’re doing it just like Colt.
Maybe he said flash-phosphated. I don’t recall, but it was flash-something.
