"Abnormalities" in Daniel Defense barrel

I noticed something interesting on my new DD 14.5" barrel… The m4 feeder ramps are not symmetrical at all. The one on the left is much deeper and actually has a “divot” or chip out of the front. I am not concerned about aesthetics but am concerned that once I start cycling rounds through it will hang up. The edge is quite sharp though so I don’t think it would hang up, but I am not an expert by any means…the last picture gives the best view of the chip in the ramp

What do you all think? Anyone experienced this before?

I have not yet, I wanted to see if this truly was and abnormality or something that was a non issue.

That doesn’t look right, contact Daniel Defense.

I had an extractor issue and they paid for the gun shipping there and back.

DD is top notch on CS. While is doesn’t look like that will cause any reliablility issues, it’s your gun not mine. If you’re not happy, they aren’t and they will take care of you.
