I have this upper from Noveske and am hoping to be able to use an AAC 51t brake to mount a can, does anyone know first hand whether this combination will work or not? Thanks!

disregard my question, I got to do some measurements and it is a no go, so now this upper will be for sale and I will be on the hunt for a different 10.5 with room for the AAC mount.
I just recently got my hands on my NSR… TOTALLY DIGGING IT! They have a 9" iirc.
Your smartest and cheapest option is to get a BCM 11.5" BFH barrel and swap them. I have built 5 uppers with the VIS in that configuration.
Depends if the barrel length or the upper construction is more important to you 
Although, I guess I would rather an 11.5" barrel with a VIS than a 10.5 with an NSR… I really just like 11.5" that much more.
1" may make a difference in the porn world on screen, but not so much in the SBR world.
I ended up just selling the upper, now I am on a MK18 quest.
