AAC cans for 6.8mm SPC?

Anyone know if AAC has any offerings for the 6.8mm SPC cartridge? I plan on picking up an LWRC M6 PSD in the near future and would like a can to run on it full time. Any input would be appreciated.

If your barrel has 5/8 x 24 threading you could just screw an AAC Cyclone (.30cal) directly to the barrel. When not running a can you could just us a Vortex handtight.

Awhile back I was starting to get interested in the 6.x calibers for hunting and was looking around at possible silencers. There’s a thread on it here.

From that thread, I inferred that the 6.8 AAC cans are rarer than hen’s teeth, and if I was still pursuing the project would likely be looking for the Surefire in that caliber.

I have one of the 6.8mm M4-2000s. Mine was in stock when I ordered it this time last year and I had it and the stamp back fairly quickly. It is a great can and it runs good on the two LWRC rifles I’ve tried it on.

FYI I was told by AAC that the can would not be covered under warranty if used on a centerfire rifle less than 10".

My 6.8 M4-2000 was in stock when I bought it. Last I checked they still have some more in stock.

The M4 2000 mod 7 can have either 5.56 or 6.8, you just need to tell them which baffles you want when ordering. The 6.8 is actually easier to get than the 5.56 in regards to lead time.:slight_smile:

For other folks reference, could you guys post links to the dealers that have the 6.8 M42Ks in stock?

I hav the M42km7 in 6.8 and its quiet.
