Hi everyone, I have a M4 Flat top upper with a 14.5 in Barrel. It came with a A2 front sight base installed on the barrel not a “F” Type FSB. I have a Colt detachable Carry Handle on it. Will I be able to Zero this Weapon with the A2 FSB or will I have to get a longer sight post to get it zeroed. Also I have a Matech BUIS will this work with the A2 FSB. What are my options?
Most likely you’ll need a taller front sight post. Bushmaster sell one for like $6 to cure the problem.

My DSA middy has an A2 front site on it also. My magpul mbus did not work with it until I had it raised so high it was almost screwed out of the base. I wound up buying a taller front sight post for it.
