I found this ACOG over at SWFA, Its model# TA40R2 for $549. http://swfa.com/Trijicon-2x20-Compact-Acog-Rifle-Scope-P3193.aspx So why is this ACOG so inexpensive compared to the others?

Yeah, do a price comparison between the ta26 and the ta44 (I believe they’re identical other than the mounting setup). From what I uynderstand, the oddball setup was intended for the HK MP5. Or at least that’s the rumor I heard.
