Many a “newb” believes that a 20-gauge shotgun is larger than a 12-gauge, just as they believe a 230-grain bullet is heavier than a 147-grain bullet.
Obviously “grains” are the number of grains of gunpower you’re supposed to put in the projectile. Durr.
Clearly, if a 12G is good, then a 16G is better and a 20G is for inflicting massive carnage. Then you step up to the 410! That is an anti-aircraft sky clearing scatter gun!
And you can buy a Taurus Judge, too: A true hand-cannon!
I work with a guy that has a Judge and keeps it in the bedroom for home defense. He makes claim that there is no better hand gun for immediately stopping an intruder than a .410 out of his lipstick length barrel of that Judge.
Now, I’m no rocket scientist, but I bet that his Judge does not do to a human what he fantasizes it to do 
To him, it is the holly grail of hand guns.

The Judge probably blows the intruder into the next county. Which not only will leave a gaping hole in your house but is also extremely dangerous: What if the intruder strikes a car?
