I always bought up the $10 Wal-Mart Fed, excellent ammo and a lot cheaper than anything else these days
Im gonna have to vote again on this stuff. You cant beat $9.47 (plus a bit of tax) for 50 rounds! Ive never had one issue with it yet in my P30. And nowadays I can get it at of the many wal marts here…
Wish we had that at our Wal-Mart last week when I needed 1000 rds… 2 100cnt WWB and then RWS was the cheapest they had!!
Normally I load my own but was out of time.
That RWS stuff is Swiss, and it’s very high quality ammo in my experience.
Just picked up 10 boxes of Federal 9mm (50ct@$9.47) at Wallyworld today, they have about 10 more boxes left. Also
had WWB 100rnd valuepacks (I counted 20 boxes @$23.50 per)
which is what I usually buy.
I’ve purchased Rem UMC (yellow box) 250rnd value pack in
.45ACP once about 4weeks ago. It shot fine through my
Springfield XD45 , no issues. They had 1 box of it there today
but I pretty much train with my G19’s 98% of the time.
BTW, I was warned by a gunshop employee that they won’t allow the RWS ammo from wallyworld on the
range because it is steel core ammo and damages backstops. I have no idea if this claim is valid.
That’s weird. I thought that they were under Dynamit Nobel. As far as I knew Ammotec/ RUAG was separate.
It’s actually a steel jacketed bullet, which scares some folks but isn’t any more AP than standard gilding metal jacketed ammo.
Steel core 9mm would be illegal to sell or import due to AP ammo laws.
Those companies are under the same umbrella, kind of like how Federal and Speer are under ATK, and damn near everything else is under BAE it seems.
I thought so too- till I bought some of the ammo from Walmart. It says “Made in Switzerland” on the box. Maybe they merged?
Yeah, we wouldnt want to “hurt” the dirt they use for backstop. What a bunch of BS, just like the range officers telling me my 50 BMG will go right through the berm into the next county. Whatever…
I scored 1200 rounds of the Federal 115 from Walmart on Sat
best deal by far on 9mm at 9.47 per
Hell of a deal! Good Score
Is this 9mm Reloadable?
Boxer primed and reloadable.
Good to know, I have 2200 rounds of it and am just about to order my first press… For some reason, i didnt think they were reloadable… I shot 100 rounds of it last week and didnt save the brass… Dont know why i thought that.
Thanks
I am at the end of a case of Lawman that I ordered from them last month. I was very happy with it, and it seemed to be very consistent in accuracy and recoil to the Gold Dot that I use for SD, so it makes more sense to me than the others at the same price.
I am debating on wether or not to get another case of Speer, or some Silver Bear since I’ve been shooting a lot (for me) lately.
My local Wally world also had the 9mm for 9.47 so I snagged 500 rds. I heard Wally world in California has .308 ammo for 12.00! Damn
Mostly WWB from walmart.
I have just started reloading 9mm again on my SDB, 4.3 231/124g Berry Flat Point. THis load is quite accurate and soft shooting out of my G34 and G19.
Everytime I go to an Wally world I make it a point to see if they have the Federal Champ stuff. At least a box everytime I go. I’m running out of room for it. Might have to get another safe for ammo purposes… ![]()
This is what I stock up on when they have it. The only FMJ I can find under $10 still.
Whats the difference between the Federal bullets at Wally World, like the box of 50 rounds for 9.50 compared to the Federal American Eagle bullets. All i see the the American Eagle rounds cost more.
