Thanks bro! Maybe I’ll spend the money on ammo instead of taking a chance.
I love my H&K P7M8. ![]()
I’m planning on picking up a SIG 239 in 9mm for CCW during summer/hotter months soon.
I completely understand what you’re saying about the price difference in ammunition between 9mm and .45, feeding my .45 at the range has started to get astronomical.
I am a 45 guy also and my favorite gun as I have indicated before is a Glock 36/30 SF Hybrid but as others have said training with 45 ammo is becoming astronomical so I switched to carrying and training with my second most favorite gun the Glock 26 and for home defense the Glock 19 with Glock 17 mags.
BTW so I do not get tempted I sold all my guns in 40 caliber and the last one for sale a Glock 23 is in the Equipment sale exchange sub forum.
DEFINITELY CZ-75…
P7M8.
Yeah OP, you should at least fire a CZ variant and see if you like it. I let a guy at the range shoot my CZ75 compact last weekend and he fell in love (he already owned a glock and HK). He said the next gun he buys will be a CZ. If they’re knocked for anything it’s weak springs, but that can be changed on the cheap. Triggers aren’t great, but unless you’re shooting in competitions, I don’t think it’ll bother you. CZ’s sure feel good in your hand and I don’t think anyone will argue with that.
That’s a superb collection of nines, and an M&P would be my next choice.
M&P9
M&P9c
P30
G17
G19
OP- You might want to try and LEM trigger conversion on one of the those P30’s.
Why does everyone discard Rugers? My P95 is reliable and I am pretty accurate with it. Made in U.S. is a plus for me.
Glock 17, Glock 19, H&K USP 9x19, H&K USP Compact 9x19.
Glock will always be my favorite.
H&K will always be the runner up.
If anything, I think you may have too many. I would go this route:
Glock 19
Glock 26
If glock 26 is too thick for concealed carry, then:
two glock 19’s
Kahr PM9
Glock 19
HK P30
M&P
Sigs are no longer worth their premium price due to lower quality in the last few years.
I guess I am just missing the point of this thread. ![]()
Glock 19 and an HK P7 PSP since you’ve already got a SIG 226.
I’ve had a CZ75 and HiPower before and don’t miss them at all.
M9’s are over sized and prone to have durability issues, at least our issue ones.
I’ve got a full size Kimber that I’ve had perfected by Miller Custom, yet because I can’t justify shooting her anymore. I bought her when it cost $7 a box of .45, now it’s over $20
One day I’ll get a P9S, that’s one sexy 9mil
M&P 9mm PRO, the Pro is one of the nicest shooting guns on the planet. Long slide, Fiber optic sight, great trigger. Its a great value with that considered. About 600 clams.
The FNP 9mm is pretty sweet too. They now have it with decocker / safety which I like.
But if your adding to that list, go M&P Pro.
I’ve owned Glock, Sig, HK, and others, but the CZ I find to be the most accurate and ergonomic out of them all. Mine has been extremely reliable too, and I’m waiting for it to mess up so I have an excuse to respring- it hasn’t.
Another common knock is slide stop breakage… but as soon as I purchased an extra I know mine will never break now. ![]()
Don’t know if their QC has slipped since they got big(er) in the states, but I’m a big fan.
