Howdy everyone. I have a couple quick 922r compliance questions I’m hoping you fine gentleman can help clear up. I recently purchased an Arsenal SA M-7 R and am curious about it’s parts count with respect to 922r. How many imported parts does it have and how many U.S. parts do I need for it to be compliant? I’m guessing anywhere from 3-6? Also, do the Bulgarian Circle 10 mags with the U.S. made followers and end-plates still have the steel feed lips the originals have? I couldn’t really tell from the pictures. Finally, and this is off topic, why does the brady bunch or whomever consider a threaded muzzle an “evil feature”? That’s all I have, thanks guys…
I would assume the circle 10 bodies have the same feed lips as they are Bulgarian.
However, I would not depend on a magazine for 922r compliance in an AK47 if other options are available (which there are for an AK47).
You will not be able to use original com bloc magazines if you are dependent on a magazine for compliance.
Your SAM7 is already compliant by itself, so there is no need to buy magazines with american parts in them which are substandard. Use original com bloc magazines whenever possible.
An AK requires six compliance parts.
Depending on the configuration, it could be 5 or 6.
Milled receiver guns require one less part than stamped receiver guns, b/c they start with fewer imported parts from ATF’s list to begin with (they don’t have a separate barrel trunnion).

Yes, this is true and would be applicable to the OP since his gun uses a milled receiver.
