Armed confrontations can occur as close as arm’s length. This class will place the emphasis on the draw and shooting from positions that are anything but traditional including contact shooting. Strike zones, how to strike and creating distance from an attacker will also be addressed. This class bridges the gap between open hands and handguns. Much of the training will occur at contact distance. This course will also cover essential pistol handling skills.
The combatives portion of this class will be taught by Mike Duke of Hard Target located in Moyock, NC. Mike is a well-respected instructor who teaches Combatives and Sayoc Kali at Bushido MMA in Portsmouth, VA.

[li]Minimum 1 magazine/2 speedloader pouches to carry your magazines/speedloaders[/li]
[li]Minimum of 3 serviceable magazines/4 speedloaders[/li]
[li]Concealment garment[/li]
[li] 250 rds of ammo – factory service type (if you run reloads please make sure the ammo is reliable in your weapon) [/li]
[li]Suitable range wear depending on the season- We shoot rain or shine[/li]
[li]Blue gun/SIRT pistol that fits your holster for combatives scenarios[/li]
