9"x24"gun 11x28 case? please ?

When I break my 16" ar15 in half, it fits in a rectangle 9x24"
(w/weaver 1x4)
Wouldnt it be nice to have a pelican/skb/storm etc case 11x28x4 ??
Instead they make these so big some have wheels !!
Do we need wheels on a 6lb gun ?
These case companies (and i did email all 3)think I’m wrong.
Galati thought my idea of their 36"soft double rifle case in 28"(even 26)was good.
Keep looking for it if you want one,or please email them if you want it.
It’ll have a pouch for each half, and be about the size of a tennis racket…Mabe in the fall I was told.And I am waiting.

I gues what I’m trying to do here is get more requests to these companies if more shooters want a practical discrete case for thir AR.

I don’t know, Man.

A rifle split in half isn’t doing me much good. Shoot! 98% of the time, I don’t even use a regular rifle case. If I’m taking my rifle with me somewhere, I might as well have it ready to deploy immediately.

I just can’t think of any place that I would, both, be taking my rifle AND need to take it descretely. :confused:

theres always a time and place… this is just an answer with the question trailing far behind :smiley: I’d soft case it myself.

I guess compact cases are nice if you’re hauling a bunch of weapons out to the range.
