9 inch AAC upper with Brakeout mount (pic heavy)

This is my grouping after I sighted in my new LMT A2 sight which is tips. There is a five shot grouping at 12 oclock for for adjustment then the I placed the 30 rds in the center, this was at 50 yards using Remington’s premiere 125gr OTM which are accurate and clean shooting. 800rds through the upper with no issues or accuracy degradation. The Brakeout mount works very well at eliminating muzzle climb and flash. The groups seem tighter even though I was only using the Iron sights. I recently added the B.A.D lever, MOE grip (which Im switching out to a MOE K) and the LMT sight as mentioned prior. Im going to get the MOE K, a BCM gunfighter charging handle and it the near future some tritium sights.

Isn’t that just the cutest little thing!!:p:D

In all seriousness, I can’t think of a better firearm for kickin’ in doors or vehicle use. Good choice.

p.s. Is that a commercial CTR?

AWESOME!

How’s the blast out of the 9" upper between the Brakeout and the Blackout?

This boy is just nasty SICK!:bad:
After seeing this, its time for me to invest into a black out!
Great build!

how’s sound on the brakeout vs. a blackout?

This site is real slow, okay. Yes it’s a commercial CTR.

The sound between a YHM 7.62 phantom mount and the black out is the same to me but there is some concussion laterally not bad though. I never had a blackout mount on it, but I assume another FH in comparison would work for your question. The “blast” or fireball I assume is nearly non existent due to the fast burning powder, this is one reason LWRCI is making PSD in the blackout…very low flash signature. As for any of the perceived negatives of a brake which I don’t notice anyway is ignored by faster follow up shots and longevity of my inbound suppressor. Thanks for all the positive feed back.

Great looking gun you got there
