How do you folks attach your tac lights to the mag tubes on your 870’s? Thanks…
I use an elzetta mount. It’s very sturdy. Just don’t over tighten it, it will bind the shells in the tube.

I’ll add to the Elzetta recommendation that it is one of the few mounting options I have seen that seems solid enough to ride all 8 seconds on the 12 ga. and keeps the light above and out of the way of the sling (if a sling is right for your shotgun).
Do you have a particular light in mind already, or are you open to purchasing a light for the mount? The Elzetta should be able to accommodate either of the major options: rail-mounted or ring.
Best wishes.
I use a streamlight protac HL on mine. I think they are rated at 630 lumens.
WML on the Magpul forend; simple and solid.
I have a M3 with a pressure switch mounted to a rail on the fore end
What PD said if you don’t mind changing the fore end. I personally wouldn’t want a tape switch on a pump. GH
I use the tape switch because its easier to grip harder than manipulate the toggles while operating the shotgun. If I had money to burn I would mostlikely buy a surefire or eotech forend. Followed by the in force WML. The WML looks pretty easy to operate wile operating the shotgun…
I use a GG&G flashlight and sling mount with an Inforce WML.
Simple, dosnt affect point of impact like a clamp on, and I can still hook up with a MS3 sling.

I second the Inforce. I currently run one on my AR and it works great. It’s lightweight, ergonomic, and doesn’t require buying another mount.
I use an old surefire forend. The new ones are like 5 times brighter and better than mine.
I’d look at the surefire forends and very closely compare total investment and benefit.
I’ve thought about going the Surefire route but I like my Magpul forend too much. Also I didn’t like how the Surefire mounts that I handled on friends shotguns added weight, but if it works for you go for it.
With the M-LOK 870 and 590 forends that will be shipping soon, the new cantilever rail/light mount with or without the light mount v-block and rings makes a great setup for a pump gun.
