picked up a lightly used LTR 308 with a Jewell trigger on Friday
Mounted my Kahles CL 3-10x50 with the Multizero system (allows 5 presets of elevation adjustment
worked up a few loads and shot this group with the 3rd load
44.5g of Varget, new Lapua brass, CCI BR primers and 165g Sierra Gameking BTSP, 2.80 COAL
I think I am going to like this one
Nice group. 44.5 grains of Varget is my go to load for the 175 gr. Sierra Match King along with Lapua brass and CCI BR-2 primers. This is for my Winchester 70 Sharpshooter. I’ve found Reloder 15 to be very accurate as well.
I reckon such good results are as much a product of the man behind the rifle, though…

Yup I love my LTR, but I’m seriously considering a mag mod (ie Badger Ordinance or AI stock). Great looking rifle!
