6940 Bolt

Does the 6940 come with an M16 BCG similar to the 6920? I have a couple of older Colt’s including a 6721 that have FrankenBCG that are slotted/flat on the bottom (I am sure some kind of PC BS that Colt did at the time 10+ years ago).

Generically, do all Colt’s come with the M16 BCG or is it dependant on the model?

It’s the same BCG as in the 6920. Basically the only difference between the two is the free-floating monolithic upper.

Per Colt, and the experience of others receiving guns in the last 2-3 years, M16 BCGs are standard.
