6920 arrived, accessories enroute

Thanks to the advice on everyone here I ordered a sp6920 on Monday afternoon and I picked it up from my FFL Wednesday. Now it’s time to add a few accessories.

For rails, I’m going with the centurion C4 carbine cutouts. They show that they are taking orders so I don’t know how long it will be until they are stocked. And to go on those rails I’m about to order a surefire x300.

I see an Aimpoint M4s in the future but I don’t I can’t decide which mount to go with. I’ve found sites that have the QRP2 and then there is the Larue QD mounts. I’m leaning toward the Larue. Anyone have a preference on the Larue mount heights available?

For BUIS, I really like the KAC 200-600 original. It’s a little more coin than the micro but it looks a little stronger made and only slightly larger. Of course, after I give KAC a call tomorrow I might be swayed to go with the micro.

I’ll be going with a vickers sling and a gunfighter charging handle, most likely the mod 4.

Lastly will be the stock. I’m looking at the LMT SOPMOD, VLTOR IMOD, and the EMOD. I’m going to wait until I get everything on to see how it balances out before making my decision on stocks.

Thanks for all the advice i’ve received as well as a great site. If anyone has any recommendations or reasons I should go a different way, I’m all ears.

Your going to get a lot of “go shoot the gun first” stuff from many experienced people here. You should state the purpose of the weapon so people far more knowledgeable than me can give you better advice.

That being said, as the owner of an IMOD I would recommend the EMOD in that it is longer and provides more area for your cheek. Its closer in length to the LMT.

I paid $180 + shipping with a similar code back in the spring. I installed the RIS II rail for a friend and prefer the narrow feel of the Omega X rails and I don’t plan on having a grenade launcher. Plus they have a QD slot.

You can mount your Surefire at the 12 o’clock position as well.
