Once you get some rounds down range I’d be interested in hearing your thoughts on the M4 vs. what every other Aimpoints you’ve used and how you likes or dislikes of the DNTC comp/flash hider.

I’ll do a post on the M4 after a few range days, but for now:
2moa dot is much sharper than the older versions
Mount seems more reliable than the standard “ring mounts”
Kill flash is not needed unless in a military role
Battery compartment should have been put directly under the scope or lower- I’m a lefty so it’s right in my line of sight when I carry the weapon in a cqb role.
didn’t come with flip up scope covers- I like those better than the rubber band style cheap cover it came with.
It is supposed to drastically reduce muzzle flip. Not too much of a concern for us semi guys for but people like me in banned states and forced to use muzzle brakes, a DNTC comp without the FH cuts may be what we are looking for.
