69 gr. Nosler Match CQB

There is plenty of data and gel test data around relating to the Sierra 69gr. and heavier for CQB and supported by Gel tests but:

Darned if I can find any Gel test data on the Nosler 69 gr match.
With the J-4 jackets you would think it SHOULD be good from 2700 and up but:

Does anyone know where ANY gel test data is for the Nosler bullet ?
I hate assumptions for such a application

Even a bone box test would be nice.

I have searched over some time, and can find nothing on the web.
It may be there but…I can’t find it.

thanks

What I am really wondering is, without a cannelure, will the 69 gr. Nosler match (with the J-4 jacket) break up, or simply flip over and travel base first.

I haven’t seen anything to give any indication. The jacket is lighter than the Sierra match 69 jacket so it begs the question.

It would be nice in that weight to get fragmentation even without the cannelure if possible.

The velocities I am running are from a 14.5 barrel, NATO pressure level, and I thought the 69 Nosler (no cannelure) might be a fair compromise.

Paul

It generally fragments in unobstructed shots.

Thanks Doc
